POCO CUFFS STRIPE By JB Harlans Stripe. 1997 AQHA Dun stallion with all black points. Here he is if you are looking for that GOOD Old Fashion Foundation Breeding with the modern look. (AKA Tarzan) Tarzan is one of those hard to find stud horses. He has the sweetest disposition and can be handled by anyone. I use him to work cattle, trail ride. Roped on in and out of the arena. You can ride him through the roughest of country, you aim him and he will go. Go across tanks and rivers without a problem. He is the same if you ride him once a week or every 6 months. Slip a halter on and mount up bareback. Not a problem. Haul him with mares, trail ride with mares. You would never know he was a stud.  My 4yr granddaughter rides him and clims all under and over him.
Tarzan has 4 super black feet. Seems to be a trait he passes on.
Talking to many of his off spring owners. We always get the same response. These are the easiest colts to break, never an ounce of buck and they all make great riders with tons of potential.
He has a big full long mane and tail. He loves to be bathed, groomed, go swimming and just to hang around the barn tied to be in the middle of the action. He will stand tied for hours. We pasture bred with him last season and he was superb. I would go check the pasture horses every other day and you could rub all over him, pick his feet up, push him around, or aything you wanted right amongst the mares.
He sees a halter he is right there putting his head in it no matter where you are.
Tarzan was owned by Billy Cook from the age of a yearling until we purchased April 08. He is a very kind and gentle breeder. No biting, pawing or being rowdy.
If you are looking for a nice stud or in the need of a stud he will pay for himself quick. I have many people wanting to breed to him but I do not have a facility where we are able to take in outside mares.

Bean is a 7yr grey gelding 16+ hands.  Bean is very sweet and so eager to please.  He loves people of all shapes, color, size and design.  Bean has been living with us for a little over 2 years.  He wants to be where the action is.  Bean has the potential to make someone a great playday horse or just a good old riding horse.  He is sound, can be caught anywhere and gets along with everyone.   Two of the grandkids who have never rode were using him in the round pen learning to ride.  My 5yr old grandaughter has been riding him since she was 3 and she leads him everywhere.  He will just follow her and put his head down.
Bean would love to be a part of some family who will love him and give him lots of attention.  He neck reins and is very limber and easy to handle.

Offering for FOR SALE a TRUE DEAL. Jake is a 19yr REG AQHA gelding. 1D/2D Open Barrel Horse. Finished Head/Heal Horse. I bought this horse for my 3yr grand-daughter. He is solid enough for her to ride and he does it on his own. He is all business. She needs a couple more years to be able to be strong enough to totally control him. SO if you are looking for an auto pilot horse to win Jake certainly may be the guy for you.
The girl I got him from was making a payday on 99% of her outs. He took her through team roping schools and taught her the ropes. This would be the perfect horse for a kiddo that is really ready to ride and win. or anyone for that matter.
This is not a must sell deal at all. I just feel like someone should be getting some good out of him rather than him standing in my pasture for the next 1-2 years waiting on my grand daughter..
Jake does have a few knots and scars. Nothing that affects him. (you know how it is as we all get older) He is a bay about 15.1H with Good feet.
Jake is the type of horse with a big motor and giant heart. He will still be going down the trail 5 years from now.

I want to make myself very clear on this guy. He is not a kids horse. ( Babysitter) This is not a horse for a kid to get out in the pasture and just ride. He is all business but a kiddo or adult with experience will not have any problems.

These type of horses are hard to come by. A good home is a MUST!!!!!! I would consider a good trade...We are looking for a 14-16 ft stock trailer.

4yr Registered AQHA Classy Mare.  LOOK at Daisy!!!WOW she is a cute one. NOW HAS LIN BACK DUN FILLYVBY Poco Cuffs Stripe.  This mare has been in cutting training for 60+ days.  She certainly has cow in her.  She really got a late start.  WR SMART MORAIH (Daisy) is a 2005 Smart Little Lena bred mare.  She has that pretty bay color and cetrtainly can turn a head.  She has class and the looks.  Daisy rides quite and is very eager to learn.  She would make a great barrel prospect cause she is quick as lightening.  We have considered going SHOT with her as she will be much better than average on an all around basis.  Just right to add to your broodmare program.

5 yr Dun Gelding-Easy to catch, gentle Taco rides quite just needs someone to work with him and teach him all of the basics.

This little bay mare has all the patience in the world.  She came off a sheep ranch out at Big Lake.  16-17yr old.  Reins very well and rides out throught the pasture well.  This is a mare that I do not hesitate to let my 4yr grand daughter ride.

10yr Big Stout pretty mare.  She loves attention and was being rode by a couple kiddos 7-10 yrs.  This mare was started right.  She travels and moves nice.

Stubby is an aged gelding.  (16-17 yrs)  He is a small guy 14.1h.  Just the right size to to easlily mount.  Stubby rides out through pasture well and would be great for everyday trail riding.  This guy does have a handle on him. You lay the reins on his neck he can get around.  Gets along well with other horses. 

This guy will be good for someone who is looking for a horse that does not have to be riden daily.  He is solid broke. 

Bruiser is a 1998 Reg AQHA sorrel gelding.  He is very well built.   We have been riding him out in the pasture. There has been someone riding him that is not an experienced rider.   He rides very quite and stands well for grooming and farrier. He enjoys being brushed and getting attention. He would make a teenager or adult a great trail horse.  I do not feel this horse would be a good choice for a small child.  He is not mean and my 3yr granddaughter has been all around him.  I just do not think he was every exposed to small kids. Previous owner used him on trail rides, parades and said he has been exposed to the heading box.  Bruiser side passes, open gates on him and responds to pressure very well.  This guy has the looks.  He will catch an eye quick.

Nice solid user friendly gelding. Nothing fancy just the right kind. 15.2h 9yrs and a good 1200+ lbs. He has good feet. You can bring him up once every 6 months and he is the same. Tack up and lope off. He has been standing in the pasture for about the last 8 months. He is a big stout boy. He does not have that look that will catch an eye but what he does have is much more than looks.
This guy has been used to hunt quail. You can shoot off of him or you can dismount and shoot. He was trained to use in the place of a four wheeler and to save some foot steps.
He has been used to work cattle. His owners in the past were not experienced riders. I am sure that you can rope off of him. We have not roped anything but have swung a rope and it does not bother him.
I think this gelding would fit anyone. Experienced or not. My 3 yr grand daughter has rode him in the round pen and would probaly make it fine with him in the pasture. Not the horse that concerns me it is her.  (She would delight in loping off and coming back at her convenience)
As I mentioned earlier he is not beautiful but under saddle he looks good and has the size to do about anything you would want to try. He will cross water and you aim him he will go through the roughest of brush. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT GELDING TO TRAIL RIDE ON. HE RIDES ALONG GREAT AND ALSO CAN COVER SOME TERRITORY.

2007 Red Roan Filly - This filly is a nice young filly ready to start.

Clown is a Flashy 3yr (July) Black & white paint. He is still a stud at this time. He is out of papered stock but was never registered. Clown has the potential to make a great gelding.
I am just starting him in the round pen and he responds very well and is eager to please. He has a great disposition and is quick to learn.
He has alot of running blood in his pedigree. Watching him in the round pen he travels really well and works quiet.
Given a chance he will make someone a nice horse. Would be a great project for someone.

16yr Registered Gray/Overo Mare -Under 15H  Majesty had not been rode in 4 years.  We just saddled up and rode off without any great issues.  She is a little rusty.  Just needs someone to ride her and use her.  She rides quite through the pasture, does not have any spook or buck.  Majesty has running blood in her pedigree so she could still produce a nice foal.  You will find Triple Chick, Top Moon, Speedy Van 3 and others in her pedigree.  She will make someone a nice trail horse and will work for about any level of a rider.

11yr Black Registered Half Arabian Gelding- Eclipse is a sweet kind boy that can be caught anywhere.  He is very gentle, rides, has no buck or spook in him.  He had not been rode in the past 4 years and we saddled him up and rode across the pasture no problems.  He is just a little rusty and needs someone to give him some attention and spend some time with him.  Eclipse will make a great trail horse and I believe that he can be rode by anyone. 

TRAVELER-15.2h Sorrel gelding
Traveler is a nice gentle 4yr grade gelding that is looking to find a good home.  He is super gentle, not an ounce of buck in him.  He does not know alot but he will go down a trail and rides with a nice level head.  There was a little 7yr boy doing some trail riding on him.  He has been rode in parades.  Don't think he has a booger in him.  Loves attention and can be caught anywhere.  That is where he got his name, everytime we go out in pasture trying to catch a horse he is always trying to put his head in the halter and wants to go. Stands for farrier, grooming and ties well.

Classic is a sweet guy. We have been riding him. He has been started to drive from ground. He is a very fast learner and eager to please. He gets along well with other horses. We have used him a couple of times to ride out the pasture looking for livestock. He needs a good home with someone willing to put time in him.
This is my first haflinger to have any dealings with. We raise quarter horses. Speaking with my equine vet about CLassic he enlightened me that haflingers are easy to get along with and great riders.
He is by MERLANDO'S MAGIC ELY and out of LEANA FAH. Not sure how much info this gives you but if you are familiar with the breed I am sure this will shed a little light on his breeding for you.
Sorry I do not have pics while anyone is riding him. I did not realize there were not any while riding until I got here to the office and did not find them.
He rides and I feel he will make someone a great rider with a little time and patience. He is approx 14.2H and weighs a good 1250 plus. He is current on coggins and up to date on all shots.

Rock 12 yr Palimino Gelding-Used in and out of the arena. One of those hard to find guys!

Rock sold and is now living in Rockwood on a llama farm.  He is being used to check cattle on occasion and just living life. 

15yr Sorrel Gelding- Curly was a Christmas Present for some kiddos in Bangs, Texas that has never had a horse before.  He has all patience int he world.  Curly was on the same ranch for his entire life working cattle and doing a days work.  Now he is enjoying all of his pampering and loving where he lives and is helping teach this family about riding.
